Michael Jung
Partner
Mike is a Partner and part of the founding team at Panorama Capital
and began his career in venture capital in 2003 at JPMorgan
Partners. His primary areas of investment focus are in internet,
media and services companies. Prior to working in venture
capital, he was Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development at
the Exigen Group, an enterprise software and services company. He
also served as Vice President of Strategic Corporate Development at Ask
Jeeves, where he led a team responsible for a number of strategic
initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships
and the incubation of new products and services. Early in his
career, Mike advised a variety of high technology companies both as an
investment banker with BancBoston Robertson Stephens and as an attorney
with Gunderson Dettmer.
Mike currently serves on the boards of directors of Axiom, Betawave, and World Golf Tour. He is also a board observer at Federated Media.
Mike is a founder of Alpha Club, a Silicon Valley based networking
association comprised of leading influencers, executives and
entrepreneurs focused in the Internet and online media sectors.
He holds a JD and an MBA from the University of Michigan and
bachelor’s degree in political economy of industrial societies
from the University of California, Berkeley.
